He is survived by: his wife Reida Janelle Stanley Sermon; his daughter Hannah Lynn Sermon of Union Hill; his brother Mark Sermon of Union Hill; his sister-in-law April Durand (Kevin) of Elmer; his nieces, Erica Sermon of Pineville, Patricia Monk of Pineville, Faith Sermon, Ariah Sermon of DeRidder and Abby Durand of Denham Springs; and his nephew Reid Durand of Minot, SD. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (3815 LA-121, Boyce, LA 71409). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery (763 Elmer Rd, Elmer, LA 71424).
