She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Jenkins, Sr. and Rosa Beamon Jenkins; her husband Jessie King, Jr.; and her siblings, Otis Jenkins, Jr., James Jenkins, John Jenkins, David Jenkins, Andrew Jenkins, Sr. and Ruby Hankins Sykes.

She is survived by: her children, Marjorie Veal of Boyce, Louisiana, Karen King of Boyce, Louisiana, Jessie King (Lucy) of Boyce and Rev. Tony King (Minister Natasha) of Troy, Alabama; her siblings, Bishop Hughes Jenkins, Sr. (Ella) of Houston, Texas, Ola Mae Smith of Boyce, Oletha Belle of Alexandria and Minister Irma Cifton of Houston, Texas; her siblings-in-law, Mildred Jenkins of Alexandria, Louisiana, Doretha King of Boyce, Beatrice Sergent of Pineville, Mary Morgan of Albuquerque, Sam King of Alexandria, Donnell King of Alexandria and Eugene King of Lena, Louisiana; and her godchildren, April White of Houston, Texas. and Rossalind Gordon of Houston, Texas.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt Hermon Baptist Church (9151 LA-1, Lena, LA 71447). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
