He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Ledet; his parents, Mary Bienvenue Ledet and Harrison Ledet, Sr.; his siblings, Wilbert, Carl, Leroy, Charles, Ashton, Jessie Ledet, Eula Lambert, Josephine Ledet and Barbara Williams; his great grandchild Adelyn Batiste; and his niece Brenda Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Wilbert Junior Castille, Mary Beverly Castille, Lenora Ledet and Laurie Ledet Stafford (Joseph); and his siblings, Joseph Peter Ledet, Anna Mae Edward, Lorita Jean Batiste, Theresa Jones, Annie Jean Alfred, Shirley Mae Ledet and Renella Faulk. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; eight godchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Syrie Funeral Home from 8:00 a. m. until 10:00 a. m. All those in attendance must wear a mask or face covering.
