He was predeceased by: his parents, Mose Brown and Lorina Barlow Brown; his brother Herbert Barlow; his nieces, Barbara Brown and Wendy Barlow; his in-laws, Lester and Beulah Joseph; his nephews, Leonard Brown, Jr. and Clarence Barlow; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Joseph, Gerald Comeaux, Albert Comeaux and Mary Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Lee Anna Joseph Brown; his son Shane Brown; his siblings, Joseph Solomon Brown (Carolyn), Howard Paul Brown, Leonard Brown (Celina), Kenneth Edward, Dorothy Comeaux and Linda Comeaux; his grandchildren, Shaylin Brown and Shane Brown, Jr.; and his great grandchild Da'shai Jenelle Andrus. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - Breaux Bridge (211 Berard St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A rosary was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (610 N Main St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517).
