He is survived by: his sons, Jason Salazar (Cynthia) and John Salazar, Jr.; his stepson Christopher Matas; his brother Gerald Salazar (Judy); his brother-in-law Larry Savoie; his half-sister Silvia Bernard; and his grandchildren, Austin Salazar, Ansley Salazar, Zoey Salazar, Natalie St (Trevor), Emily Salazar, Olivia Salazar, Christian Matas (Meghan), Johnathan Matas and Colette Matas.
