He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Claire Guidry; his parents, Lazain Guidry, Jr. and Mae Moreau Guidry; and his siblings, Aubrey Guidry, Ruth Jumonville, Theresa Guidry, Virgie Caillier and Nolan Guidry.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Caillier Guidry; his children, Sandra Guidry, Elizabeth "Liz" Champagne (Robbie), Sammy Guidry (Cathy) and Kirk Guidry (Sharon); his brother Louis Ray; his grandchildren, Karyn Guidry, Laura Guidry (Mark), David Guidry, Kali Guidry Sosa (Johnny), Kellsie Guidry Gottung (Denton), Travis Champagne (Donna), Kerci Champagne McRae (Elie) and Kory Champagne; and his great grandchildren, Ainsley, Emma, Liam, Audrey, Grayson, Isabelle, Raegan, Trey, Alice, Monroe, Oliver and Delilah.
