It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mason Cappiello of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, born in Marrero, Louisiana, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 28, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Francis Marx and Cecile Bertha Gibson; his uncle Kenneth James Trosclair; his great-grandparents, Paul, Ione Hingle, Louis and Bernice Cappiello; his fathers-in-law, Webey Dugas, Sr. and Clinton Sedotal; and his brother Tucker Huval.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Guidry Cappiello; his parents, Mark Shannon and Michelle Gibson Cappiello; his grandparents, Jimmy and Paula Cappiello; his children, Jessie James Guidry and Gabrielle Alise Guidry; his brothers, Michael Cappiello (Heather), Matthew Damico (Jodi), Chris Guidry Sr. (Shelly) and Webey Dugas, Jr. (Jessie); his aunts and uncles, Kim Benoit (Dale), Katie Trosclair, Charles Gibson and Francis Marx Gibson, II; and his mother-in-law Margaret Sedotal. He is also survived by family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - Breaux Bridge (211 Berard St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A rosary was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the same location.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to everyone who contributed to his Go Fund Me account and that gave personal donations to Mason for his care, Katie Trosclair, and the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes hospital for their support while he was in the hospital. Mason's legacy will live on in the memories of his loved ones and in the individuals who were the recipients of his gift of life through organ donation.
