He was predeceased by: his wife Renella Thibodeaux Dwyer; and his parents, Stanley Dwyer and Yuline Marie Castille Dwyer. He is survived by: his children, Kirk Dwyer (Sharon) and Karen Young (Roger); his siblings, Raymond Dwyer (Amber), Michael Dwyer (Debbie), Mark Dwyer (Georgette), Judy Dwyer and Linda Landry (Gerald); his grandchildren, Danielle Lute (Colby), Ashley Young and Kirk Dwyer, Jr. (Rebecca); and his great grandchildren, Sylvie Lute, Avery Lute, Mazie Lute, Anthony Dwyer and Lillian Dwyer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - Breaux Bridge (211 Berard St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A rosary will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (204 N Main St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at the Calvary Cemetery (355 Teurlings Dr, Lafayette, LA 70501).
