The passing of Terrance Oberleitner of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 7, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Oberleitner and Elma Fickle Oberleitner; his brothers, Richard "Rick" and Patrick "Pat" Oberleitner; his nephew Richie Oberleitner; and his brother-in-law Dave Treadway.
He is survived by: his wife Dr. Melinda Granger Oberleitner; his daughters, Cassidy Oberleitner, Sarah Oberleitner Zimmermann and Rachel Oberleitner Bishop (Bill); his sister Cathy Treadway; his grandchildren, Jake Zimmerman, Luke Zimmerman, Harper Zimmerman, Harrison Bishop and Kellan Bishop; and his sisters-in-law, Penny Granger and Dr. June Granger Borazjani (Mohammed). He is also survived by his children and his wife.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge (211 Berard St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (204 N Main St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A rosary will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 9:00 PM to 9:15 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge (211 Berard St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (https://www.givecampus.com), Hospice of Acadiana, and Miles Perret Cancer Services.
