He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Escoyne and JoAnn LeBlanc Escoyne. He is survived by: his daughter Hillary Savoy (Gerald); his granddaughter Elena Escoyne; his great grandchild Asher Detraz; and his sisters, Gwen Gilliland (Dwight), Yvette Bourque (Harold) and Angela Guidry.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - Breaux Bridge (211 Berard St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A rosary was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (204 N Main St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517).
