He is survived by: his wife Mary Agnes Batiste of Jennings; his children, Dana Fields (Deacue) of Fayetteville, AR, Walter Batiste Jr. (Toya) of Sulphur, LA, Shantella of Lake Charles, LA, Brenton Soileau of Houston, TX and Nashone Ray (Nathaniel) of Baton Rouge, LA; his sister Vivian Dobbins of Breaux Bridge, LA; his siblings-in-law, Gladys Demouchet, Shirley Daniels (Ricky), Barbara Celestine (Shelton) and Stephen Demouchet of Breaux Bridge, LA; and his godchildren, Greg Castille of Jennings, LA, Bernard Johnson of Jennings, LA, Meta Mouton of Jennings, LA, Erica McZeal of Galveston, TX and Frank Demouchet of Breaux Bridge, LA. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
