With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wesly B Nelms of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2025 at the age of 39. He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Kathy Nelms; his sister Leslie Nicole Nelms; and his grandmother Lucille Nelms. He is survived by: his wife Janetta Nelms of Breaux Bridge; his children, Ayanna Nelms, Wesly Nelms Jr., Jaedyn Nelms, Jermaine Phillips, Zyir Williams and Prince-Josiah Williams; and his sisters, Renee Gray of Florida, Tamika Nelms of Florida and Katuray Raymonvil of Virginia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Syrie Funeral Home (1417 E Simcoe St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
