He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Kathy Nelms; his sister Leslie Nicole Nelms; and his grandmother Lucille Nelms. He is survived by: his wife Janetta Nelms of Breaux Bridge; his children, Ayanna Nelms, Wesly Nelms Jr., Jaedyn Nelms, Jermaine Phillips, Zyir Williams and Prince-Josiah Williams; and his sisters, Renee Gray of Florida, Tamika Nelms of Florida and Katuray Raymonvil of Virginia.
