He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bertrand and Cecile Hebert Bertrand; his wife Rebecca Wiltz Bertrand; his grandsons, David Keller and Jessie Patin; and his siblings, Daisy Dugas, Audrey Ackerman, Roger Bertrand, Carrol Bertrand, Joe Bertrand, Lindsey Bertrand and Jimmy Bertrand.
He is survived by: his children, Monica Keller (Robert) of Breaux Bridge, Benny Bertrand of Breaux Bridge, Sandra Bertrand of Breaux Bridge and Lynette Bertrand of Breaux Bridge; and his caregiver Sunny. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
