Allen leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Allen’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sonnier and Anna Lou Sonnier; his stepmother Anna Mae Sonnier; his brother Randy Sonnier; and his grandmother Ada Vallot Sonnier.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mona Edwards (Steven), Cassandra Phillips (Timothy), Ricky Sonnier and Ronnie Sonnier (Peggy); and his caregiver Bobby. He is also survived by four nieces and four nephews.
During his time at the Arc, Ray proudly worked in the donation center, where he enjoyed sorting through items generously donated by the community.
