He was predeceased by : his parents, Weldon Emmanuel Kinsey and Hazel McMills Kinsey; and his siblings, Weldon Earl Kinsey and Linda Kinsey Morgan. He is survived by : his wife Bonnie Kinsey; his children, Jesse Kinsey and Chelsea Kinsey; his grandchildren, Cameron, Vayda Kinsey, Maddie Richard and Riley Blake Landry; his sisters, Donna Kinsey Defelice (Kenny) and Phyllis Kinsey Howard (John); his brother-in-law Larry Morgan; his parents-in-law, Mildred and Marnel Delcambre; and his close friends, Mary Edley Moore, Madelyn Moore and Audrey Moore. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Our Savior's Church (655 LA-96, Broussard, LA 70518).
