She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph William Nicholas (Regina Nicholas) and Laurence Patin (David Patin); her siblings, Wilma, Jean, Michael, Eugene Nicholas, Louester Marks, Georgie Jones, George Patin, Rosamary Hebert and Simon Patin; and her children, Linda Faye, Bertha May and Alfred Patin.

She is survived by: her siblings, William Nicholas (Barbara), Wilfred Nicholas, Alvin Nicholas, Mary Ann Sealy, Cecilia Reynolds, Betty Ann Simien and Crystalbell Nadie; and her children, Mary Anthony, Michael Patin, Alice Auguillard (Paul), Lionel Patin (Yvonne), Alvin Patin, Barbara Mills and Rosalyn Avila (Will). She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Louisiana Funeral Services & Crematory (108 Hardware Rd, Broussard, LA 70518). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the same location.
