We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2025, at the age of 76, Harvey Houseknecht of Broussard, Louisiana, born in San Antonio, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Houseknecht and Lillian Houseknecht. He is survived by: his son Harvey Dale Houseknecht, Jr. (Christina); his stepdaughter Marguerite Holley; his grandchildren, Kristi Houseknecht (Leon), Kaitlyn Holley and Kane LeMaire; and his siblings, Charles Grey, Donna Young (Michael) and Rusty Houseknecht (Edie).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Harvey's memory.
