He is survived by: his son John Ray Ballard Jr.; his close friend Katie; and his siblings, Sadie Bautifta, Ruby Andreponte, Sadie Lee Major, Leona Scavona, Robert Ballard and Lester Ballard. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
