He is survived by: his wife Heather Hodges; his son Larry Robert Hodges (Kayla); his grandchildren, Joshua, Alyssa, Madison and Jase; his daughter Sesily Hodges; his grandchildren, Trenton, Matthew and Riley; his great grandchild Victoria Hodges (Shannon Roy); his brother Kenny Hodges (Susan); his nephews, Bryan Hodges and Trent Hodges; and also, Bella, Reece, Mason, Malayna and Saige.

For 28 years, he was a dedicated employee at Dixie Iron Works, until the pandemic brought an unexpected close to his long career.
