She was predeceased by: her husband Wilfred "Will" Smith; her sons, Roy Smith and Clem Smith; her parents, Clem Guidry and Leola Perrio Guidry; her siblings, Louis Guidry (Ettaline "Cat" Guidry), Howard Guidry (Elsie), Lydia Riche, Ledie Wyble Marks, Emma Gauthier and Alice Hicks; and her granddaughter Tanya Salazor.
She is survived by: her caregivers, Steve, Beverly Wilson, Jim and Gwen Burke; her children, Edward Gauthier of Dupont and Betty Bergeron (Gillman) of Broussard; her grandchildren-in-law, Joseph and Karlee Roy of Broussard; and her pet Adam. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family.
