With sadness, we share the passing of Betty LeJeune Kane (Brusly, Louisiana). Betty, born on October 9, 1931, passed away on October 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dan Kane; her parents, Mary LeJeune and Parker LeJeune; her siblings, Donna Rae Fontenot, Rogers and L. J. LeJeune; and her son-in-law Bubba Willis.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Kane, Danette Willis and Vicki Strickland (Danny); her grandchildren, Brittany Vincent (Anatole), Courtney Purpera (Dale), Parker Willis (Marki) and Kinley Grace Strickland; her great grandchildren, Drake, Cooper, Alyce Vincent, Coy, Dailyn, Kace Purpera, Maggie Louise and Rowdy Kane Willis; and her sisters, Patsy Dupuy, Estelle Tassin (Rene) and Windy Aucoin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St John the Baptist Catholic Church (402 S Kirkland St, Brusly, LA 70719). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 12:30 PM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery (402 S Kirkland St, Brusly, LA 70719).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Bereavement Committee or Catholic Daughters in her honor.
