He was predeceased by: his wife Floyce Matthew Meche; his parents, Jules Meche and Youland Richard Meche; and his sisters, Juanita Winston and Wilma Lee Hutto.
He is survived by: his children, Cole Meche of Dayton, TX, Scott Meche (Patricia) of Bunkie and Lisa Meche of Bunkie; his sister Julet Griffin (Morris) of Bunkie; his grandchildren, Joseph Meche (Adrian) and Desiree Grove (Eric); and his great grandchild Blake Grove.
