He was predeceased by: his father Maurice Richard; and his brother Keith Richard. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Overgaard of Plaucheville, Jennie RIchard of Plaucheville and Lindy Aney of Bunkie; his mother Anna Richard of Bunkie; his siblings, Melissa R. Laborde (Richard) of Pineville and Mark Richard (Lisa) of Morrow; and his grandchildren, Noah Overgaard, Cheyenne Overgaard, Tucker Overgaard, Declan Overgaard and Amelia Richard.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:50 AM at the Church of the Little Flower (2912 Main St, Evergreen, LA 71333). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Church of the Little Flower Cemetery (2932 Main St, Evergreen, LA 71333).
