With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jeanette Ducote of Bunkie, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edley Daigrepont and Laborde Daigrepont of Louisiana; and her brother Wiley Daigrepont (Sam Ducote, Jr.). She is survived by: her sons, Michael Ducote (Sheila) of Pineville, John Ducote of Bunkie, Randall Ducote (Sharon) of Bunkie and Keith Ducote (Rebecca) of Bunkie; her sister Geneva D. Scallan of Baton Rouge; her sister-in-law Vicky Daigrepont of Texarkana; and her grandchildren, Steven Ducote, Michelle Ducote, John David Ducote, Joseph Ducote, Kayla Ducote, Randi Claire Ducote, Abby Ducote, Ryan Ducote, James Ducote and Jason Ducote.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home (302 St John St, Bunkie, LA 71322). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Alphonse Catholic Church (3659 Main St, Hessmer, LA 71341). A rosary was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie (302 St John St, Bunkie, LA 71322).
