She was predeceased by: her father Terry Christal. She is survived by: her husband John Anthony Johnson; her children, Alan Chatman (Ashley), David Anthony Johnson (Robin) and Nicole Angelle Johnson Matthews (Marshall III); her grandchildren, Laney Chatman, Maggie Chatman, Lucy Chatman, Andrew Chatman, Carter Matthews, Annie Matthews, Reid Matthews and Stella Rae Johnson; her mother Lynda Christal; and her sister Terry Lynn Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other close family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home (302 St John St, Bunkie, LA 71322). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Alphonse Catholic Church (3659 Main St, Hessmer, LA 71341). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie (302 St John St, Bunkie, LA 71322).
