She was predeceased by: her husband Leland Moran, Sr.; her parents, Elmer Brooks and Hazel Soileau Brooks; and her siblings, John M. Brooks and Patricia B. Wilson.
She is survived by: her son Leland Moran, Jr. of Elton; her brothers, James D. Brooks (Mae) of Opelousas and Timothy S. Brooks of Washington; her father-in-law Floyd Moran, Sr. of Rosa; her siblings' children, Wayne Wilson, Kristy Wilson, Nicholas Wilson, Tracy B. Broussard, Danielle B. Defelice, Jamie Brooks and Michael Bergeron; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley M., Lionel Bergeron, Kenneth Wilson and Theresa Brooks.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home (302 St John St, Bunkie, LA 71322). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
