She was predeceased by: her son Kevin Hukins; her parents, Louis West and Villa Grimball West; her siblings, Thomas West, Ralph West and Barbara West Blanchard; and the father of her children Kenneth Hukins.
She is survived by: her children, Connie H. McCoy (Craig) of Bunkie, Stephanie H. Rabalais (Mack) of Morrow and Michael Hukins (Audra) of Echo; her grandchildren, Casey Cooper (Marvin), Max Hukins, Morgan Heinen (Fred) and Garrett McCoy; her great grandchildren, Marlee Barron, Caleigh Barron of Rylei Aymond, T. J, Dauzat, Madelyn Heinen and Hudson Heinen; and her great great grandchild Lorelei Reid.
