He is survived by : his wife Darlene Juneau Ponthier of Bunkie; his sons, Marvin Ponthier (Liquin) of Santa Ana, CA, Jeffery Ponthier of Bunkie, Murray Ponthier, Jr. (Becky) of Hessmer and Keith Ponthier of Bunkie; his siblings, Mary Ruth Manning (Steve) of Brookhaven, MS, James "Pete" Ponthier (Shelia) of Echo and Merlin "Boy" Ponthier, III (Judy) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Kimberly Daigrepont, Cheree Ponthier, Nicole Smith, Sandy Ponthier, Marvin Ponthier, Jr., Jonathan "Beetle" Ponthier, Ryan Ponthier, Logan Ponthier, Luke Ponthier and Zilong Tan; and his great grandchildren, Annie Claire Andes, Miley Daigrepont, Brayden Chenevert, Tyler Smith, Jared Smith, Jr., Isabella Smith, Kyndle Cook, Carter Demouy, Bryson Demouy, Olivia Ponthier and Kayden Ponthier.
