She was predeceased by: her husband John R. Blanchard, Sr.; her parents, Chester Busby and Julia Busby; her brother Wesley Busby; and her grandchildren, Lindsey Hataway, Richard, Randolph Kysar and David Gates.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Breaux (Rick), Renée Hebert (Gary), Lisa Revere (Philip) and John R. Blanchard, Jr. (Susan); and her grandchildren, Melissa, Lauren, Justin, Jamie, Leslie, Preston, Olivia, Jonathan, Jessica, Wendy, Matthew, Claire and Alyiah.
In the summer of 1948, June volunteered as a candy striper at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, where she met Johnny, a young sailor donating blood for "A Day of Liberty.".
