She was predeceased by: her parents, Losa Rogerson and Ohazra Baughman Rogerson; and her spouse Johnnie Slade. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Shilling (Otho), Calvin (Suzanne) and Chris. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brown-McGehee Funeral Home (610 Ave F, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Crawford Cemetery.
