He is survived by: his siblings, Farrell Bares (Janet) of Leroy and Shawn Bares of Scott; his nieces and nephews, Keshia Bares of Erath, Ryan Bares (Laura) of Erath, Blake Bares (Amber) of Edmond, OK, Andre Bares (Katie) of Maurice, Spencer Bares (Brittany) of New Iberia, Mitchell Bares (Brittany) of Maurice, Matthew Bares of Cade, Bailey Bares of Lafayette and Ben Bares (Sierra) of Youngsville; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyler Bares, Collin Etheridge, Addyson Bares, Amelie Bares, Bowen Bares, Avery Bares, Eloise Bares, Sage Bares, Magdalen Bares, Cecile Bares, Shepherd Bares, Joel Bares and Baby Bares.

A graveside service was held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the LeBlanc Cemetery.
