He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernette Pierce and Margaret Pierce; his grandparents, Harmon, Mamie Pierce, Loid and Sarah Ramsey; his brother Melburn Ray Pierce; his niece Kelley Allen Lane; and his uncle Billy L. Pierce.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Cockerham Pierce; his sons, Jeffrey Pierce (Mary) and Will Pierce (Hilary); his grandchildren, Tucker Pierce, Sammy Pierce and Ramsey Pierce; his sisters, Patricia Harris (Dannie), Sharon Allen (Tommy) and Melissa "Lisa" Reljac (Mark); his sister-in-law Nancy Pierce; and his cousins, Billy L. Pierce, II and Darrell Lee.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church-Calhoun (2981 US-80, Calhoun, LA 71225). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Calhoun (2981 US-80, Calhoun, LA 71225). A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the Beulah Cemetery.
