He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Joseph Richard, Sr. and Beatrice Mae "Beat" Rogers Richard; and his siblings, Barry Wayne Richard, Jacqueline "Jackie" Richard Johnson and Karen Beth "Cookie" Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Howerton Richard; his children, Bryon Heath Richard (Sunny), Brady Keith Richard (Allison "Ali") and Jodi Michelle Richard; his brothers, Roger Allen Richard (Molly) and Lester Joseph "Ferpo" Richard, Jr.; his grandchildren, Addyson Brooke, Katherine Mae, Jolie James and Andre Thomas Richard; and his godchildren, Kelli Ella Richard, Kasie Beth Howard and Mike Johnson. He is also survived by his wife, sons and daughter, grandchildren, and in-laws.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (5250 W Creole Hwy, Cameron, LA 70631). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church Cemetery (5250 W Creole Hwy, Cameron, LA 70631). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
