She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Theriot and Macilda Theriot; her brother Francis Melvin Theriot; her daughter Jennifer Lurlie Richard; and her siblings-in-law, Barry Richard, Jacqueline "Jackie" Richard Johnson and Karen Beth "Cookie" Richard.
She is survived by: her husband Lester "Ferpo" Richard, Jr.; her children, Allyson (Kim Bourriaque) of Creole, Dana (Mitchell Baccigalopi) of Creole and Darren (Penelope Richard) of Creole; her grandchildren, Ryan Bourriaque (Megan), Brett Baccigalopi, Kimily Bourriaque, Devon Melville (Stephen), Brilee Little (Caleb) and Brayden Richard (Andi); her great grandchildren, Sofia Melville, Ava Melville (Blaise), Libby Baccigalopi, Rylee Bourriaque, Remi Bourriaque, Rhett Baccigalopi, Nova Jo Melville, Bellamy Doxey, Rorie Bourriaque, Saylor Little, Wilder Melville and Nash Little; her sister Mae Ann Hebert (Carl "Mickey") of Lake Charles; her siblings-in-law, Roger Richard (Molly), Bryon "Goose" Richard (Carla), S. J. Johnson, Terry "Hippy" Richard, Allie Mae Theriot and Carolyn Richard; her close friends, Shirley Bonsall, Charlotte Trosclair and Mary "Tingie" Picou; and her caregivers, Bill, John, Logan and Carson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
