He was predeceased by : his parents, John Albert Hardee and Mattie Mae Slayton Hardee; his wife France Guerin Hardee; his daughter Antoinette "Toni" Hardee; and his siblings, Alvin Ray Hardee, Johnny Benjamin Hardee and Dimple Hardee Walker.
He is survived by : his daughter Michelle Hardee Fredieu (David); his siblings, Doris Elaine Hardee Kaczmarek, Peggy Hardee Williams (Jimmy) and Kelly Hardee (Judy); and his grandchildren, James Cody Fredieu, Cally Michelle Fredieu and Caitlyn Antoniette Fredieu. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
