He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bledsoe Doucet of Cankton; his daughters, Kimberly Doucet of Lafayette and Ashley Doucet of Bossier City, LA; his stepson Richard Smart of Bossier City; and his siblings, Cathy Doucet of Church Point, Belinda Manuel (Todd) of Jagneauxville, LA, Albert Doucet (Elaine) of Jagneauxville, Emery Doucet (Naomi), Charles Ray Doucet of Island Lake, IL, Michael Doucet (Brenda) of Church Point and Malcolm Doucet of Youngsville, LA..

A rosary was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Guidry Funeral Home Inc. (219 N Broadway St, Church Point, LA 70525). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (114 Bienvenu St, Church Point, LA 70525).
