He is survived by: his wife Ellen Savoie Porter; his children, Jessmyn Yandle (Nicholas) and Jaycee Porter (Nathan Plumbar); his grandchildren, Jolie Yandle and Elvie Yandle; his siblings, Chuck Porter (Ratana) and Carey Porter (Gloria); and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Boudreaux, Vickie Gregurich, Jeannie Werner and Rickie Andrus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the St. John Berchman's Catholic Church (552 Main St, Cankton, LA 70584).
