With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alexis Barbry of Carencro, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 14, 2026 at the age of 28. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Joseph L. Hooks, III, Roberta Guillot Hooks, Earl J. Barbry, Sr. and Gail Kelone Barbry; and her stepgrandmother Elodie M. DeMary.
She is survived by: her mother Mary Hooks Baudoin; her stepfather Ronnie "Speedy" Baudoin; her father Earl J. Barbry, Jr. (Julie); her stepsiblings, Earl J. Barbry, III and Angelica Pearl Barbry; her uncle Joey Barbry (Misty); her cousin Annabelle Barbry (Dylan); her stepgrandparent Glenn J. Baudoin (Beverly); and her cousin Maddie Rae Baudoin.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alexis Barbry Scholarship at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, continuing Lexi's mission of inclusion, access, and opportunity.
