We bid farewell to Clayton Miller (Carencro, Louisiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 12, 2025 at the age of 89. Clayton touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Miller, Sr. and Evelyn Legere Miller; his brother John Miller, Jr.; and his sisters-in-law, Eldine Miller and Nellie Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Venable Miller; his sons, Kevin Miller (Pauline) of Cankton and Byron Miller (Cheryl) of Maurice; his grandchildren, Kenny Miller, Coby Miller, Kyley Miller Green, Amber Wicks, Mallory Gardner, Ashley Miller, Austin Montet and Brittney Miller; and his siblings, Alvin Miller, Carroll Miller, Gervis Miller (Brenda), Richard Miller and Linda Faye Lormand (Pat) of Scott. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
