She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Landry, Sr. and Sadie Morales Rabalais; her stepfather Clarisse Simon; her great grandchild Kenner Carpenter; and her siblings, Roland Landry, Jr., Cheryl Brasseaux, Rosalind Gallet and Beverly Guillory.
She is survived by: her husband Ray Legere; her children, Chad Legere, Shannon Jinks (Dale), Wendy Alleman and Cortney Mitchell (Will); her grandchildren, Kyle Alleman (Monique), Brandon Jinks (Torri), Sherell Gravouia (Jake), Gavin Legere (Amber), Skylar Carpenter (Bryce), Avery Legere (Maeve), Bailey Jones (Joseph), Kaleb Mitchell, Kelby Walker, Colin Mitchell (Keily), Zane Legere, Sadie Mitchell, Kayla Curtis (Telly) and Jonathon Lavergne (Jordan); and her sisters, Juanita Delhomee (Murphy), Nona Simon and Dianne Sonnier. She is also survived by twenty-three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
