He was predeceased by: his wife Melba Rose Patin; his parents, Weston Brasseaux and Agnes Breaux; and his siblings, Allen Brasseaux and Anna Belle Decoux.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Roger (Albert), Bobbie Comeaux, Mitzi Bronzoulas and Lisa Magnon; his grandchildren, Robert Meche, II, Mike LeBlanc, Kasey Thibodeaux, Rusty Lyn Mouton, Ryan Earl Comeaux, Johnathon Bronzoulas and Ty Magnon; and his stepgrandson Sid Roger. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Evangeline Memorial Gardens (4113 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520).
