He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Savoie Venable (Nolan) of Lafayette and L. Glenn Savoie.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church (552 Main St, Cankton, LA 70584).
