She was predeceased by: her parents, David Guidry and Marie Latolais; and her siblings, David Guidry, Jr. and Daisy Dean Broussard. She is survived by: her children, Phillis Kuske (Nancy Porier) of New Iberia, Connie Brasseaux (Kevin) of Murphy, TX and Steven Romero (Tasha) of Lafayette; her stepson Barry Uze (Corrie) of Baldwin; her grandchildren, Danielle Romero, Christopher Brasseaux, Steven Romero, Jr., Evan Kuske and Corey Brasseaux (Sara); her great grandchildren, Thomas Richey, Austin Richey, Liam Romero, Steven Lane Romero, Taytum Abshire and Adeline Brasseaux; and her siblings, John Earl Guidry (Linda) of Carencro and Marie "Teenie" Reed of Carencro.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the Evangeline Memorial Gardens Cemetery (4113 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520).
