He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Jeanette Cormier Reeder; his parents, Harry Lafayette Reeder and Vera Goodwin; and his sister Jeanie Lavergne. He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Reeder (Christine), Wanda Huval (Rene), Cindy Jones (Jonathan), Della Boutte (Francis), Angel Myers, Rebecca Merchant (Anthony) and Loretta Godina (Frank); his brother-in-law Sonny Lavergne; and his nibling Tracy Hebert (Joy). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Evangeline Memorial Gardens (4113 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520).
