She was predeceased by: her husband Adam Royer; her parents, Duplex Mire and Arthemise Richard Mire; her son Kenneth Louis Royer; her siblings, Hurbert Mire, Pergie Mire, Rodney Mire (Mary Ann), Adie Mire, Hazel Dupuis and Maudry Viator (Alvin); and her children-in-law, Carl Brent Veillon and Priscilla Faul Royer.
She is survived by: her children, Dianna Gale Royer Veillon, Paul Wayne Royer (Sheila) and Danny Adam Royer (Lisa); her daughter-in-law Patsy Jean Royer; her grandchildren, Kimberly Landry (Chad), Jude Veillon (Michelle), David Royer (Carla), Kyle Royer (Ricklynn) and Lance Royer; and her brother Andrus Mire (Thelma). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, February 2nd 2026 at 8:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4615 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Sunday, February 1st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church (552 Main St, Cankton, LA 70584).
