He was predeceased by: his former wife Juanita Marie Domengeaux David of Sunset; his parents, Jeffery David and Volta David of Opelousas; his in-laws, J. L. and Adel Domengeaux of Sunset; his children, Mark Anthony David (Karen) of Sunset and Linda Marie Benavidez of Oxnard, California; and his siblings, Ludy Faye David Latiolais of Opelousas, Gordon Gene David of Lake Charles and Warren Francis David of Lake Charles.
He is survived by: his significant other Kathleen Gonsoulin May; his daughters, Marsha Louise Barker (Kevin) of Calabasas and Debra Ann King (Kevin) of Sunset, Louisiana; and his stepchildren, Claire Marie May Levi (Giovani) and Brian May (Tami). He is also survived by six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
