He was predeceased by: his parents, George Batiste and Anita Houston Batiste; his wife Anna Mae Narcisse Batiste; his sons, Michael Batiste, Leroy Batiste, Jr., Raymond Batiste and Kenneth Batiste; his grandson Craig Francis; and his siblings, Joseph J. C. Batiste, Willa Mae Batiste Woodward, Agnes Batiste, Mertil Batiste Primeaux and Nowella Batiste.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rockella Batiste of Houston, TX, Charlotte B. Guillory of Beaumont, TX, Carolyn Green of Lafayette, Brenda Batiste Mitchell (Cedric) of Humble, TX and Jennifer Batiste of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Ashley Lewis, Shanell Farley, LaQuita Wells, Meia Batiste, William Gardiner, Jr., Keith Johnson, David Batiste, Michael Johnson, Dwight Johnson, Justin Gardiner, Cody Batiste, Jermaine Batiste, Kendell Batiste, Kenneth Green and Scotty Green; and his brother Lane Batiste of Lafayette.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
