He was predeceased by: his son Timothy Joseph Stelly; his parents, Clarence Stelly and Beulah Perez; and his siblings, Maxie Stelly, Francis Stelly and Macklyn Stelly.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann Stelly of Lafayette; his children, Monty Lee Stelly of Lafayette, Ronald Keith Stelly of Gulfport, MS, Kenneth Paul Stelly of Denham Springs and Deedra Ann Stelly Comeaux (Lloyd) of Youngsville; and his sisters, Rita Stelly Smith (Robert) of Lafayette and Linda Stelly of Carencro. He is also survived by five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church (610 Rain Tree Trail, Lafayette, LA 70507).
