He was predeceased by : his parents, Alcee Babineaux and Bernadette Hernandez; his son Craig James Babineaux; and his siblings, Weston Babineaux, Alcide Babineaux, Wilton Babineaux, Malcolm Babineaux and Sybil Comeaux.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Lavergne Babineaux; his daughters, Nina Bearb (Dion) of Carencro and Monique B. Braquet (Jared); his grandchildren, Jessica Guillotte (Lance), Derek Savant (Brittany), Beth Peltier (Logan), Jude Braquet and Jase Braquet; and his great grandchild Raegan Savant.
