She was predeceased by: her son Paul David Dugas; her parents, Leo Delta Bordelon and Emmy Lou Armand Bordelon; and her sister Larayne Bordelon. She is survived by: her husband Edmond "Ed" Dugas; her children, John Dugas, Donna Dugas Pearson (Dale), Lesley Dugas Angelle (Chris) and Lauralee Dugas Becker (Karl); her grandchildren, Caroline Pearson, Paulina Pearson, Nicolette Dugas, Chloe Hills (Tony), Emily Angelle (Antony), Courtney Dugas, Jessie Dugas, Josie Dugas, Christina Dugas, William Labit and Jack Labit; and her great grandchildren, Hudson Gunawan, Mila Gunawan, Liv Gunawan, Gaby Hills, Sofia Hills and Nolani Pagador.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in the name of Marilyn Bordelon Dugas be made to Hospice of Acadiana (https://www.hospiceacadiana.com) who provided outstanding and caring service to Mrs. Dugas and her family.
